Why GuessTheLean?
It started as an argument. We could never agree on how "controversial" a topic really was, so we started asking people to place things on a simple left-to-right scale and comparing notes.
The surprising part was how often our gut instinct was wrong. The crowd would land somewhere we did not expect, and guessing where they would land turned out to be far more fun than having the opinion ourselves.
So we built a game out of it. Each round shows you a prompt, you guess where the crowd sits, and then the real distribution is revealed. The closer you are, the better you score.
That became GuessTheLean. No hot takes, no arguments, no shouting. Just a quick daily challenge to see how well you can read the room.

What Makes It Fun
